Castlebar Road Run 28th April 2013. Starting off at Stanley Jackson's yard. (Jackson Engineering) at 11am. All drivers must sign in on the day. All vehicles must be road worthy and have full insurance. Also no passangers are allowed on the tractors. The road run will head towards Manulla then onto Balle, then onto Mayo Abbey and back to Castlebar. About 28miles in total. A good day to be had by all.
A recent event for the club was their annual Dinner Dance at Hiney's Pub in Crossmolina in Febraury. An excellent night was had by all. Despite the recession we had a great turnout which made the night truely enjoyable. We had music by the Duets, many thanks to them for being so lively and encouraging everyone to get up on the dance floor and enjoy the night away. Many people went home with our amazing amount of spot prizes. Also a big thanks to Enda Hiney for producing a wonderful spread for us to have on the night. Everyone had a really wonderful time.
